Â鶹´«Ã½ 2021 All Commissioner Fly-In

The National Association of Insurance Commissioner's (Â鶹´«Ã½) is holding its 2021 All Commissioner Fly-In virtually, May 17-19. The annual event is an opportunity for state insurance regulators to meet with their members of Congress and discuss  efforts to assist constituents and advocate for state and Â鶹´«Ã½ priorities.

This year chief state insurance regulators plan to offer insights on insurance regulatory priorities, discuss the need for a long-term reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and discuss proposals that strengthen health insurance markets; protect policyholders during an insurance receivership; support pandemic business interruption insurance; and address adding a state insurance regulator as a voting member of the Financial Stability Oversight Council.

About the Â鶹´«Ã½

As part of our state-based system of insurance regulation in the United States, the Â鶹´«Ã½ (Â鶹´«Ã½) provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to effectively regulate the industry and protect consumers. The U.S. standard-setting organization is governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Through the Â鶹´«Ã½, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate regulatory oversight. Â鶹´«Ã½ staff supports these efforts and represents the collective views of state regulators domestically and internationally.
